Welcome to Hotel Eco

Hotel Eco is a modest yet practical choice for travelers seeking budget accommodation in the heart of Ciudad de México. Located at Zaragoza 114, Buenavista, Cuauhtémoc, this hotel offers a convenient base near vibrant tourist areas such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Aztec temple ruins, and the energetic nightlife of Zona Rosa. It appeals mainly to couples or solo visitors who prioritize location and affordability over luxury.

With a rating of 3.7, Hotel Eco draws mixed reviews that highlight its strengths and limitations. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and friendly staff, as well as free Wi-Fi and parking—rare perks at this price level. The hotel provides a comfortable bed and basic amenities, including a large TV and daily room cleaning. However, it lacks air conditioning, a fitness center, or a pool. Rooms are simple, without a fridge or fan, making it suitable for short stays rather than extended visits.

The atmosphere can be noisy at times, with some guests noting disturbances from staff and television noise, as well as its reputation for attracting nightlife clientele. This aspect may detract from the experience for light sleepers or families, confirming that Hotel Eco is better suited for adult visitors seeking a no-frills environment. Language barriers with the staff are reported, but their willingness to assist remains a consistent positive.

Despite these compromises, Hotel Eco offers exceptional value. For the price, visitors receive a clean, safe place to rest while exploring the dynamic cultural and culinary scenes nearby—which include food trucks, local restaurants, and convenient access to public transit. The hotel’s location is its strongest asset, making it a strategic springboard for those eager to dive into Mexico City’s rich urban tapestry without breaking the bank.

In sum, Hotel Eco embodies the essence of budget urban lodging: simple, functional, and centrally located. It does not promise extravagance or quiet luxury, but rather an honest night's stay supported by attentive service and practical amenities. For travelers looking to balance cost with convenience, Hotel Eco proves a worthwhile option in the bustling heart of CDMX.

It's clean. Staff is friendly. It's cheap. Not for family. But perfect for couples. It's close to restaurants, Walmart, food trucks, tourist areas.

That one's difficult to review. The room itself is nice, and you're near the metro. But you just can't sleep because of all the noise coming from the staff and television. And it's also a love hotel for prostitutes

You get exactly what you pay for. A room where you can sleep and take a shower, the bed is very comfortable. It is a non-touristy hotel in a non-touristy area. At the price, expectations can't be too high. No frige, no fan, no air condition. But a big TV and the rooms are clean. The room is cleaned every day if you want. Even if the staff doesn't speak English, they're always ready to help if you have any problem in the room, Google Translate will fix that. 1 star deduction, as it was a bit noisy until midnight.

"Exceptional service and attention to detail. From the moment we checked in until we left, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The amenities were top-notch, and the views from our room were breathtaking."

You get what you pay for. 14 € per night gets you a quite big room, a working bathroom but the bed isn't really comfortable. But it does the job for one night.
